Biografia:
BADBLOOD is a young band of three guys from Florence. The band made up of Matteo (guitar and vocals), Edoardo (bass) and Rudi (drums).
They play grunge.
Badblood was born in 2004 and after some changes, they reached the current line up in May 2007.
>From the beginning they have courageously expressed through their music, without using covers.
The influences start from grunge (Mudhoney, Nirvana) going right through punk rock (Nofx, Green Day), bands like Sonic Youth or One Dimensional Man.
Badblood have always searched for a dirty, rusty, rough sound, without too many arrangements or melodies.
With new line up as a three piece, the band gained the strength that they needed, in regard to live concerts and the creation of the new songs.
.September 2006: they were contacted by RedHouseRecordings, where they recorded an demo album of two tracks (stokes place) that will be sent to labels and some agencies.
.December 2007: badblood signed a contract with the agency Alkemist-Fanatix Europe.
.March 2008: VacationHouseRecords release the debut album “worn out”, recorded in December 2007.
.July 2008: digital distribution of “worn out” on emusic, itunes, napster etc…
.October 2009: badblood release the new EP “The Black Drop”, avaiable on napster, itunes (europe, usa, canada, japan, mexico…), e music, emie street etc… from the 15th of december.
They have chalked up about 50 concerts and some radio air play.
Badblood is searching for a new label to release the second album.
The band is now free from contracts, so we are searching for a new producer or label. (we don’t care if he/she/it is italian or not).
